I can practically feel my skin turning green...

Apparently, Holocaust survivors are asking the Mormons, AGAIN, to stop posthumously baptizing dead Jews into their faith.

Here's the part I like best:

"We don't think any faith group has the right to ask another to change its doctrines," Wickman said. "If our work for the dead is properly understood ... it should not be a source of friction to anyone. It's merely a freewill offering."

Awww, a freewill offering! Isn't that sweet? You know what, Mormons? Not everyone is jumping up and down to be a part of your family values and your religion. Back the fuck off.

What really gets me is that they really don't understand how offensive this is. Victims of the Holocaust were killed expressly because of their religious heritage, and who are you to take that away? Why don't people understand that there are just some things you don't mess with? I'm not a proponent of organized religion whatsoever, but with something as touchy as the Holocaust, shouldn't you know to leave it alone?

As an atheist, this makes me nervous. I sure as hell don't want any Bible verses said over my dead ass, and I won't stand for any Mormons baptizing me into their idiot religion just so they can feel better. I suppose I better get a tattoo that says "No religious services, please" someplace, just in case I die without my wife and friends to watch out for me.

I'm not atheist, but I can still say "hells yes!!" to your "back the fuck off mormons."

Can we add evangelical Christians to that too?
